Yacht owners and VIP visitors of the most important yacht show in the Middle East were recently able to discover WorldTempus’s sister publications – GMT GCC and GMT XXL World – during the Dubai International Boat Show. GMT is the only watch magazine media partner present at the world’s most important yacht shows, bringing the wonderful world of watches to boat lovers everywhere.
From March 1st to 5th, the world’s elite superyacht builders showcased their latest projects at the boat show’s 2023 edition, where attendees could moor up, meet yacht designers from an exclusive community, learn, network and debate with the most successful people in the industry.
With over 200 vessels as well as 44 launches and innovations being showcased, the attendees were treated to a dazzling display of luxury super yachts, sailing boats and power craft, featuring the latest in design and technology.
A space dedicated to Equipment Supplies and Services catered to both consumers and trader buyers, with all the marine essentials and specialized equipment – ranging from satellite navigational systems to anchors, deck fixtures and engines - that one needs to keep their boat afloat.
During Dive Talks, all dive enthusiasts gathered to join alongside world-famous professional divers, explorers and under water photographers to learn about new techniques, technologies and thrilling experiences.
Furthermore, the attendees could head to the lagoon to enjoy some family fun with kayaks, stand-up paddles as well as pedalboats, while those looking for speed could seek the ultimate thrill with the latest gadgets in jet skis, fly boards, kitesurfs and more.
For fun or serious angling, the fishing section offered the newest technology in fly fishing as well as the Dubai Fishing Competition. Everyone was invited to join as amateurs and professionals competed side by side to be awarded the title of ‘Region's finest angler’.
The exhibit was a resounding success, bringing together boat enthusiasts and industry professionals from around the world to celebrate the luxury boating lifestyle.
