This coming weekend over 30 fine watchmaking brands will show off their latest creations in the elegant surroundings of the Cercle de Lorraine in the centre of Brussels. Many of the big names from Swiss watchmaking will be attending the show, bringing their master watchmakers, craftsmen and stone setters to demonstrate the high level of expertise required in this specialized field.
The exhibition opens to the public over the weekend, from 11am to 6pm on Saturday 15th November and from 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday 16th November and is supported by the capital’s major watch retailers, De Greef, Hall of Time, M. Lascar, Manalys and Tollet.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at watchmaking, dismantling and re-assembling a mechanical movement under the watchful eye of qualified instructors. There will also be the opportunity to see the finest craftsmen and women at work engraving, painting on enamel and setting precious stones.
