Diameter 61 mm, in gold and enamel, set with pearls and rubies. Louis XVI case with alternated rubies and split pearl set bezels, enamel back painted with a pastoral scene taken from an engraving by A. Conte, of a painting called “Evening”. Singing bird train with fusee and chain wound, bird song modulated by means of a whistle with sliding piston. Produced by Jaquet Droz in 1785 for the Chinese market.
