Longines supported the first edition of the International Longines Horse Show of Lausanne as Title Partner and Official Timekeeper. The International Longines Horse Show of Lausanne is part of the exclusive equestrian events Longines supports all over the world.
The Grand Prix Longines of the City of Lausanne – one of the highlights of the event - was won by Robert Whitaker (GBR) and his stallion Catwalk IV. He was followed by Emma O’Dwyer (GBR) with HHS Figero on the second and William Funnell (GBR) with Billy Congo. The winner received a Longines watch from Christophe Jeanneret, Longines Brand Manager of the Swiss Market.
In the frame of the event, Longines has strengthened its commitment to discover the champions of tomorrow by organizing the competition “Grand Prix des Talents Longines”. 30 riders from 9 different countries participated at the international contest limited to young riders beyond the age of 25. The competition was won by Morgane Dassio from Switzerland on Horst van de Mispelaere.
The Official Watch of the event was a chronograph of the Longines Master Collection which brings together classical elegance and excellent quality.
