The Manufacture Girard-Perregaux is invited to support the commitment of the charity organization “MILK (Mainly I Love Kids)” thanks to an exceptional watch auction which will be given during a gala dinner in Singapore.

For this noble cause, Girard-Perregaux has designed a one-of-a-kind Girard-Perregaux 1966. Fitted with a column-wheel chronograph from the Manufacture, the watch combines for the first time a skeleton dial with a 40 millimetres pink gold case and a personalized case-back.

Combining technical virtuosity and authentic design in the same vision of perfection, this beautifully unique piece is a consummate example of the Manufacture's wide-ranging expertise.

The case of the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Chronograph is designed in keeping with the long tradition of Girard-Perregaux round watches. It is a statement of timeless and classic elegance. The 40 mm case is characterized by harmonious proportions, smooth curves and extended lugs for perfect wearer comfort.

The skeleton dial is well-proportioned and perfectly readable. The seconds and railway-style tachymeter scales frame the dial and enhance the technical character of the watch.

While the long central blued steel chronograph second hand gives a precise reading, the leaf-shaped hands and applied hour markers and Arabic numerals underline its timeless elegance.

Expressly designed for the MILK auction the case back has been personalized with the signature of Mr. Gino Macaluso, Chairman and President of Girard-Perregaux.

Developed and produced within the Manufacture, the column-wheel chronograph movement comprises 304 components.  The complexity of the mechanism can be appreciated via the skeleton dial and the watch's transparent case-back.
