The unique function of these two models is to tell time – elegantly and without fuss.

“Time is what you read on your watch”, Albert Einstein joked. Nothing else but to tell the time is the raison d'être of the two latest releases from Glycine Watch SA. There is nothing distracting about the Combat 6 - no additional functions or unnecessary materials. The sober, traditional design gives the sixth generation of the Combat series a touch of military style from the 1940s and 1950s. As with all Glycine watches, it is easy to read the time, particularly thanks to Superluminova on the hands and index or numbers – a trademark of the Combat watches.

As simple and functional as Katherina Brechbühler has designed the automatic and the manual wind models, it is still the details that give the Combat 6 its special touch: for example the see-through back or the orange coloured 24 on the index version. And if you look very closely, you will discover that both the dial and mineral glass are domed. The latter is domed both on the inside and outside – a detail that has made it possible to design the case very ergonomically.

With a diameter of 43 mm, the Combat 6 is medium sized and is a real treasure on any wrist – even though it just wants to tell the time.
