Our pioneering automatic column-wheel Chronograph-Tourbillon will not be afraid of any earthquake. Quite the contrary: it will itself generate seismic shocks! This exceptional timepiece features a most unique and innovative Tourbillon specifically engineered for a “sports” chronograph function-watch. A new concept of the Tourbillon, a new technology, two patents, a new manufacturing process are the results of four years of in-depth research and unremitting endeavours to create such a masterpiece.
You will be plunging through its revolutionary and visionary mechanism and technology. A perfect heart-hammering time machine has been invented. The Tourbillograph Silverstone Woodcote was imagined and constructed in the vein of Graham's “High Adrenaline” timepieces: gutsy, sporty, functional, provocative yet very sophisticated.
Powered by a column-wheel chronograph movement ensuring greatly enhanced precision, known as R.A.C or “roue à colonne”, this particular time instrument features a unique see-through case construction which allows a fascinating look at the refined mechanism of the Tourbillon.
The off-centre construction of the Tourbillon has the advantage of being lighter and therefore more reliable with a far better resistance to shocks. The Tourbillon- cage only weighs 0.485 grams and is made of 48 pieces. The high degree of precision is reinforced with the unique “Coq” and upper bridge construction which are shaped in the tradition of English high precision timepieces reminiscent of the 18th century.
The high frequency of the balance wheel, 28'800 alternations per hour, permits better adjustment and guarantees more precise timekeeping. In addition, the double bridge construction on both sides, front and back, classical craftmanship “à la Breguet” - is much more reliable than a “Tourbillon Volant”. The reinforced Incabloc® shock absorbing system which protects the spiral, the balance, the escapement wheel and the anchor, guarantees an excellent shock resistance which is vital for a “sports” Tourbillon with Chronograph function.
Made for sports' and watch-making aficionados alike, the Tourbillograph Trackmaster Black features exclusive materials and decorations such as black PVD carbide used for the case, ceramic used for the buckle, black gold coating on the oscillating weight, bridges and plates and black “tyre tread effect” rubber on the integrated strap. It is an inventive and high-technological watch which fits any active and dynamic lifestyle.
