The Double Tourbillon Technique is an original and innovative interpretation of the first fundamental invention developed by the two watchmakers that offers an immersion into a highly complex mechanism featuring two tourbillons – one on the inside inclined at a 30° angle rotating at a rate of once a minute, and the other on the outside performing a complete rotation in four minutes.
This extreme take on the theme of transparency highlights its fascinating architecture featuring a blend of modern and traditional elements. Winner of the Complicated Watch Prize in the 2009 Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix awards, this invention clad in red gold provides an eloquent reminder of Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey's relentless pursuit of optimal timekeeping.
