The Ocean collection holds a place of its own within the Harry Winston range. Its avant-garde technical nature and design endow it with a personality that is unique in its kind. And in its wake comes the Project Z concept, featuring watches crafted in Zalium® – a zirconium alloy exclusive to Harry Winston that is revolutionary in terms of both its appearance and its technology – and which daringly highlight their mechanical complexity through a sporty, energetic style.

This year, two new ultimate sportswatches are enriching the Ocean line: a men's version, a surprising triple retrograde chronograph and a ladies' version, a model unmistakably proving that mechanical watchmaking also has a feminine side.
Ocean Chronograph
The new Ocean Chronograph carves out an architectural take on time embodied in white gold. Its generous 44 mm-diameter proportions house three retrograde indications, skillfully arranged to ensure a harmoniously contemporary appearance: the chronograph seconds at 6 o'clock overlap with the 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers facing each other at 4 and 8 o'clock respectively. This retrograde trilogy is dominated by an hour and minute circle secured to the dial by two blued screws. A traditional Côtes de Genève decorative motif sweeps sideways across the zone and serves to place in perspective the time indications: following on from the iconic Harry Winston arches framing the crown, the ruthenium-colored strip makes a striking contrast with the rhodiumed metal appliques. The diamond-polished, snailed and circular satin-brushed finishes add even more visual interest to the dial, creating a spectacular movement effect and giving the watch a resolutely masculine and modern sense of energy. Several blue accents, a favorite Harry Winston color, including on the hands, accentuate the readability of the indications. The Shuriken plays the star by spinning on its own axis and serving as a reminder of the origins of the collection. Equipped with a mechanical self-winding movement endowed with a 40-hour power reserve, the Ocean Chronograph is water-resistant to 100 meters and also available in a rose gold version.

Ocean Lady Zalium®
Impetuous, impertinent but terribly glamorous, the new Ocean Lady Zalium® likes to create a stir. Clothed in Zalium® that is both gem-set and polished, a first for this metal with its distinctive sheen, it plays the seductress with a mesmerizing sense of theatrical charm. This feminine interpretation of time is sprinkled with diamonds forming parentheses on either side of the dial and highlighting the time indications. Around the off-centered hour-circle at 12 o'clock, precious stones form a sparkling target from which everything else seems to radiate. The sunburst guilloché silvered dial offers an exquisitely playful vision of time: the moon-phase display features a contemporary design beneath a matt black mask that progressively reveals a constellation of stars. Nearby, the small seconds are represented by a starfish-like Shuriken, while a single diamond adorns the Harry Winston signature. The various touches of color give subtle life to this watch, while its face is lit up by a white rubber strap. Available in coral, lilac, fuchsia or turquoise variations, the watch is driven by a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve and delicate finishing that may be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback.
