BOULE CLOCK
The line of boule clocks is inspired by a clock exhibited in the Hermès Museum located above the boutique at 24, Rue du faubourg Saint-Honoré, in Paris. Hung from a stirrup, this clock sits enthroned on the former desk of Emile-Maurice Hermès (1871-1951), who patiently built up an exceptional collection of objects relating to the equestrian world.

8 Days Spiral Boule Clock
A surprising horological expression of the company values, the 8 Days Spiral Boule clock marries inventive loyalty to the essential values of fine craftsmanship and a love of beautiful materials, resulting in an object imbued with emotion, tradition and an unmistakably modern touch. The quintessential embodiment of the Hermès spirit in an exceptional timekeeper: a crystal boule measuring 88 mm in diameter and comprising 231 parts weighing over one kilogram in all!
The movement-making expertise of Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier has endowed it with an original five-barrel Calibre H1951, featuring a 200-hour power reserve that is manually wound by the to-and-fro motion of its two crystal hemispheres.
Captivated by the spiral effect of its white gold dial, time unveils its every secret in a sweeping 360° vision. Its mechanical heart enables one to admire its special bridges forming the H symbol featuring a circular motif echoing that on the dial.
The openworked hands combine perfect readability and the exquisite delicacy of their inimitable design. They glide imperceptibly over the hours and minutes engraved like white gold suspension points, gracefully accentuating their rhythmical cadence.
The 8 Days Spiral Boule Clock offers its sole owner the extraordinary privilege of winding it by hand by pivoting the two half-spheres. The only protruding part of the sphere is a push-button at 6 o'clock that is pressed to switch from winding to time-setting mode. Even more than a “great escape”, this is a panoramic journey through the world of horological virtuosity cultivated by two venerable Houses engaged in a unique partnership.
