Founder of Chaumet House, François-Regnault Nitot created in 1811 this pair of wristwatches which was a gift to Princess Augusta of Bavaria from her husband Prince Eugène de Beauharnais, son of Empress Joséphine and Viceroy of Italy. One of the watches indicates the hours, the other is used as a calendar.
