WorldTempus is excited to announce that Carl. F. Bucherer is debuting a brand-new podcast dedicated to women that will be going live this spring.
The podcast is called She’s Speaking and has the mission to celebrate strong, brilliant and inspiring women by discussing what drives and motivates them. It will also share their unique professional journeys and talk about the lessons they have learned along the way.
The podcast will be hosted by WorldTempus’ Editor-at-Large, Sophie Furley, who will be travelling around Switzerland to meet numerous inspiring women over the coming months. The podcast recording will be broadcast in a special podcar, which has a mobile recording studio in the back, together with dividing screens to respect today’s sanitary requirements. In addition to Swiss guests, the podcar will also link Furley to female guests from all over the globe for a truly international podcast series.
The 20-minute podcast will debut with Carole Hübscher, President of Caran d’Ache, the famous Swiss drawing and writing instrument company based in Geneva. Hübscher is the fourth generation of the family to manage the business and took over from her father in 2012. Her perspectives on being a woman in charge of a globally-renowned Swiss company promise to be intriguing.
Uwe Liebminger, Carl F. Bucherer’s CMO, explains more about this unique podcast initiative, “Women have been an important part of our brand’s history from the very beginning. We have often spoken about Wilhelmina Bucherer-Heeb, the daughter-in-law of the founder, who played an essential role in turning us into an international brand. These days, our family of ambassadors includes the great Chinese actress Li Bingbing, the Alpine skiing star Wendy Holdener, and the professional soccer player Ramona Bachmann. But we want to create a platform that will inspire other women and with She is Speaking, we will do that brilliantly.”
