The appointment of Cyrille Vigneron as CEO of Cartier International was announced by the Richemont Group on 6 November 2015, and became effective on 1 January 2016. Cyrille Vigneron, who succeeds Stanislas de Quercize, also joined the Richemont Group Management Committee on the same date.
Cyrille Vigneron, 54 years old and a French national, worked with the Richemont Group from 1988 to 2013, including as Managing Director of Cartier Japan (1997-2002), President of Richemont Japan (2002- 2005) and Managing Director of Cartier Europe (2005-2013). From 2014, Cyrille Vigneron was President of LVMH Japan.
A father of four children, a keen music lover and connoisseur of Japanese culture, Cyrille Vigneron is also an author, having published De geishas en mangas: Chroniques du Japon d'aujourd'hui (Editions Albin Michel, 2009).
