Alexis Pinturault

Alexis Pinturault new sporting partner - Richard Mille
The skier-partner of Richard Mille, Alexis Pinturault, is fast becoming a new French skiing legend.

At not quite 25 years old, the french skier is already one of the greats of French skiing, having equalled Jean- Claude Killy’s 50-year-old French record of 15 World Cup victories.

This season has been rich in emotions for Alexis Pinturault, skier-partner of Richard Mille, who wears a prototype RM 035 on his wrist. Despite a few hiccups at the start of the season, Alexis is currently finishing his World Cup in a blaze of glory. After his victory in Naeba in Japan and his two podium places in Hinterstoder, the Frenchman picked up the first Kranjska Gora race – his fourth victory in a row and his sixth this season, ahead of both Schörghofer and Hirscher, before coming in second in the Slovenian Giant Slalom. Alexis now holds the French record for the number of men’s podiums.

With this many victories, the 2014 Sochi Olympic Gold medallist has equalled the record set in 1967 by Jean- Claude Killy, the French skiing legend, which remained intact all these years. “Matching Killy is very special indeed. I’m thrilled,” says Alexis. “It means a great deal in France. But I hope to beat the record before my career’s over!” he adds with a smile.
