Profile of Luc Perramond.

Luc Perramond gained a diploma in business administration at Paris Dauphine University and an MBA in finance and international business at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his studies he became an associate consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton before entering the watchmaking world. In 1988 he was employed by TAG Heuer to head up its American division, and subsequently held a number of senior positions with the brand.


In 1999 Luc Perramond was involved in the brand’s sale to the LVMH group, and was appointed vice-president of LVMH Watches & Jewelry, leaving in 2001 to set up a consultancy business. In 2003 he joined Brazilian jeweller H. Stern as its president for Europe and Asia, and in 2009 he moved to La Montre Hermès to become its CEO.

At the end of 2014 Luc Perramond was appointed CEO of Ralph Lauren Watch & Jewelry Co., a position that he held until November 2016, when he left to take on consultancy mandates in the luxury industry.
