The generously proportioned 43 x 43 mm case is fitted with an original internal rotating bezel. The two black PVD-coated titanium crowns have clear and distinct functions: the crown at 3 o'clock activates the hours, minutes and seconds' hands as well as the date setting; the crown at 9 o'clock is directly linked to diving, as it allows to set the positioning of the bidirectional bezel -adjusting this ring on the case serves to visualize the remaining diving time-.
First and foremost designed for diving enthusiasts, this high-tech watch is water-resistant to 300 metres. In order to secure this performance, especially developed components have been selected such as a sapphire crystal two and a half times thicker than the standard one, and screwed crowns. Extensive tests are systematically carried-out on each individual piece, including controls under air and water conditions up to 37.5 bars.
Both Diverscope JR1000 case and bezel are in stainless steel, coated with injected vulcanized rubber. Used by the automobile industry and also for professional diving masks, vulcanized rubber offers great resistance to shocks, to abrasion and to UV rays; it does not scratch and it is hypoallergenic. Thanks to the density of the rubber and to the use of elements in titanium, the weight of the Diverscope JR1000 is optimized. JEANRICHARD enhances the beauty of this sportive watch with a sand-blast finishing. This final step to ultimate refinement makes the rubber surface of both case and bezel perfectly uniform, resulting in an extremely soft satin finish.
Proposed in two different versions -lime blossom or black and green-, the dial features luminescent indexes and Roman numerals, allowing a better reading in the dark as in the deep waters. Each Diverscope JR1000 comes with two straps, one in rubber and one in fabric.
