Louis Vuitton is presenting its new regatta watch, the Tambour Automatic Regatta Navy during the Louis Vuitton Trophy in Dubai.
Combining aesthetics and performance, the Tambour Automatic Regatta Navy chronograph equipped with the LV171 calibre (Dubois Dépraz) offers water sports enthusiasts countdown and fly-back functions, both of which are indispensable for measuring their performance. The countdown counter evokes a spinnaker, the sail hoisted at the fore of sailing boats. The intense blue of the dial is marked with a red “V”, Vuitton's traditional symbol, which is also discreetly featured on the strap.
Limited edition of 250 watches will be available in Louis Vuitton stores as of November 2010.
