Following the announcement of their partnership, Girard-Perregaux and Atlassian Williams F1 Team unveil the first two timepieces born from their collaboration: the Laureato Williams Edition 42mm and the Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition 42mm.
The partnership is founded on a shared conviction: in Haute Horlogerie and Formula 1, the quality of the work matters as much as what it can achieve. Much of that work remains unseen: preparation, testing, adjustment and repetition. It draws on the same respect for mechanics and, above all, for the people who understand them. Knowledge accumulated over time. Experience passed from one individual to another. The discipline to keep learning, questioning and refining. Countless purposeful decisions through which expertise, judgement, precision and attention to detail become visible.

Girard-Perregaux brings more than 235 years of uninterrupted watchmaking expertise. Atlassian Williams F1 Team brings almost 50 years at the pinnacle of motorsport. This combined knowledge has shaped two timepieces conceived as the beginning of a long-term collaboration.
The Laureato Williams Edition 42mm offers the purest interpretation of the partnership, subtly incorporating details drawn from the Williams racing world.
The Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition 42mm establishes a more direct connection to the track through a complication dedicated to measuring elapsed time: a natural meeting point between watchmaking and racing.
Born Two Years Apart. Shaped by Five Decades of Continuous Evolution.
Introduced in 1975, the Laureato established Girard-Perregaux’s own vision of the integrated bracelet timepiece. Just two years later, in 1977, Williams began competing in Formula 1.
Over the five decades that followed, both evolved through continuous refinement. The Laureato explored new proportions, materials and mechanics while remaining true to its founding design codes. Williams pursued racing excellence through engineering development, testing and accumulated experience.
The Laureato Williams Editions bring these parallel histories together. Williams design codes are integrated into a watch defined by its octagonal bezel, integrated bracelet, slim profile and alternation of polished and satin finishes.

Both models retain the functional character central to the Laureato: 42mm steel cases, integrated bracelets, sapphire crystals and water resistance to 100 metres. Mechanical objects conceived not only to be admired, button be worn and lived with. A discreet Williams “W” at 12 o’clock and a metallised Williams emblem on the sapphire crystal case back complete the design.
Attention to Detail is not a Detail. It is the Work Itself
The collaboration goes beyond applying the colours of a racing team to an existing design.
The blue Clous de Paris dial draws inspiration from the Williams FW48, the team’s 2026 racing car, while red details echo its keyline.
On the Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition 42mm, rhodium-plated rings frame the three counters, creating greater contrast and a more technical character. The chronograph provides an additional link between the two disciplines through the precise measurement of elapsed time.
Both cases and bracelets are crafted from steel with alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces to preserve the visual rhythm that has defined the Laureato for five decades.

Inside Each, an Engine of its Own.
At the heart of each timepiece is a Girard-Perregaux Manufacture movement.
The Laureato Williams Edition 42mm is powered by the GP1800 calibre. Composed of 191 parts, it drives the hours, minutes, central seconds and date, with a minimum power reserve of 54 hours.
The Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition 42mm houses the GP3300 calibre. Its 419 components coordinate the time display, date and chronograph functions, with a minimum power reserve of 46 hours.
Visible through the sapphire crystal case backs, both self-winding movements reveal the work devoted to their construction and decoration. Côtes de Genève, circular graining, bevelling, mirror polishing, satin finishing, engraving, sunray finishing and snailing demonstrate that the same attention is given to the parts normally hidden from view.
Like a racing car, each finished timepiece is the visible result of countless individual decisions. Design. Materials. Mechanics. Finishing. Assembly. Each considered in relation to the whole.
