Gamers have a date with fine watchmaking. Hamilton teams up with Call of Duty to launch an exclusive watch inspired by the world of Black Ops 7. Release set for November 14.

Every autumn, it’s the same scenario: the leaves fall, the days grow shorter, and video game fans are bursting with impatience. Since 2003, the release date of the very first Call of Duty, gamers have had a yearly appointment at the end of the year with a new episode, exploring in turn World War II, modern conflicts, and secret operations. The next installment, Black Ops 7, will be released on November 14. This year, the community may well grow even larger: the pillar of the video game industry is joining forces with an emblematic watchmaking house, renowned for its military watches and its spirit of adventure: Hamilton.

Hamilton infiltrates the game

Adapting the narrative universe of a video game to a 38 mm case is not a first for Hamilton. In 2021, the brand had already signed a noteworthy collaboration with Far Cry 6. At the beginning of 2025, it repeated the experience with Death Stranding 2, the sequel to the masterpiece created by Kojima Productions. But with Call of Duty, the challenge reaches another level. Since its beginnings, the franchise has produced more than thirty titles and over 50 million copies sold worldwide. Much more than just a game, it has now become a true pop culture phenomenon. To immerse oneself in this techno-apocalyptic universe, a watch worthy of it was needed: the legendary Khaki Field.

The watch that turns every moment into a new adventure

Robust and minimalist, this military-inspired watch naturally takes its place in the Black Ops 7 cast. On the wrist of operator Axel Vermaak, it does more than tell the time: it tells a story, accompanies every decision, and becomes a tangible symbol of action. For the gamer, the experience is the same: it’s about diving into adventure, blending style and adrenaline, and feeling like the actor of one’s own story.

The Khaki Field Automatic fits perfectly into the narrative while combining design, precision, and creativity. Its 38 mm stainless steel case adapts to all situations, while its black dial features a date window at 3 o’clock and hands coated with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring optimal readability even in total darkness.

As for the strap, it is, of course, a khaki-green NATO, robust and functional, true to the military spirit. On the mechanical side, the H-10 automatic movement offers a generous 80-hour power reserve, combining performance and reliability. To crown it all, the case back reveals an exclusive engraving of the Call of Duty insignia, a subtle yet precious nod that will delight the biggest fans.

500 appearances on the big screen

But wearing this watch isn’t limited to video game enthusiasts. Hamilton once again demonstrates that its collaborations with cultural worlds have real meaning. As with cinema, a major field of expression, its creations highlight the breadth of its heritage. The Flintridge, a distinctive 1930s-style clamshell wristwatch, already shone in Shanghai Express (1932). The Ardmore model, with its Art Deco-inspired silhouette, accompanied Matt Damon in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) and Michelle Williams in Venom (2018). More recently, director Christopher Nolan drew from the brand’s vintage collections from the 1930s and 1940s for his thriller retracing the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer (Oppenheimer, 2023). Proof that Hamilton’s vintage lines, timeless and elegant, remain as relevant as ever.

From movie sets to battlefields… and back again

What better than a watch to anchor a character in a specific era? And what could be more rewarding for a gamer than to wear their avatar’s watch? Hamilton allows its fans of cinema and video games to embody their heroes. And the best part of all: the two worlds are about to come together, as a Call of Duty film, based on the video game series universe, is currently in development. More than 100 million active players each month will be able to discover it on the big screen… but among them, only 5,000 lucky ones will have the chance to own the watch, released in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces — turning this timepiece into a true collector’s item.
