About me

Mathilde Binetruy was born and lives near the Vallée de Joux. After studying journalism in Paris, she began her career in the sports departments of national newspapers before returning to live near the Risoud forest. In 2001, she joined Jaeger-LeCoultre as an editor, where she discovered the world of watchmaking over a period of seven years. She then worked at Edipresse, followed by the BIPH under Michel Jeannot. Since 2012, she has been covering watchmaking news for various publications in Switzerland and France.
