Press release
Once again this year, the unmissable appointment beckons and the Raymond Weil Brand begins the fourth act by presenting the latest creation of its nabucco collection, the nabucco Inverso. Renowned for its sleek, powerful and elegant design, the nabucco Inverso has become more classical. With its twelve in Roman numerals and yellow hands that illuminate the dial, the nabucco has reinvented itself.

Named after Giuseppe Verdi's famous opera, the nabucco Inverso embodies the power and nobility of spirit displayed by the King of Babylon in the opera's final act. The nabucco Inverso represents the wisdom of the human being who chooses the path of reason and changes the course of events.
Sophistication, watchmaking precision and charismatic design, are all attributes that characterize the nabucco collection. However, in 2011, one note, or rather one number, is a departure from the rule. The number twelve of the nabucco Inverso becomes Roman, adding a greater classicism and henceforward establishing a stronger identity.
The harmony of the dial's colors takes us from the dark to the light, as if through a process of introspection. A transition from the black of its bracelet and dial, to the grey of the case and its three small counters; from the yellow of its hands adorning the small counters and from the chronograph hand to the white of its indexes and the luminescent hour and minute hands. With its imposing 46mm case and a tachometric bezel sculpted in titanium, this exceptional model from the Raymond Weil.
