Swatch pays special tribute to the 2010 FIVB World Tour, of which it is the accredited sponsor, in the form of a new Chrono Plastic Snowpass called Sand Diver, a sporty model that depicts sand flying from the court as a result of spectacular acrobatics by volleyball players.
The buckle and case are in transparent grey plastic, with chunky orange plastic push-pieces and a transparent grey plastic crown. The silicon strap, also transparent grey, shows the Swatch 2010 FIVB World Tour logo. The moulded plastic bezel characteristic of the Chrono Plastic collection has orange Arabic numerals and a minute-circle of the same colour.
The date aperture, dark blue on orange, is placed at the base of the seconds dial, at 6 o'clock. The slender skeleton hour and minute hands are luminous white.
The Snowpass logo on the end of the bracelet at 6 o'clock indicates the presence of Swatch Snowpass technology, which greatly facilitates access to numerous sports facilities around the world.
