Founded in January 2008, the Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd joins the Swatch Group's family of prestige and luxury timepieces and has embarked on a mission to design, manufacture and distribute high-end luxury watches on a par with the prestigious reputation Tiffany & Co. has already consolidated in jewellery.
The newly launched timepieces of this year's collection revisit some of Tiffany's original design sources and special tribute has been paid to the Atlas line, a collection that encapsulates the spirit and DNA of Tiffany & Co. by incorporating certain features found on the emblematic Atlas clock that towers over the 5th Avenue entrance to Tiffany & Co.
Presented in a variety of precious metals -from the handsome gentlemen's stainless steel Atlas Chronograph to the ultra sophisticated and glamorous white gold ladies' Atlas Cocktail that sparkles with a lavish sprinkling of diamonds- the Atlas line is destined to make an influential statement in the luxury timepiece milieu. In addition to the Atlas line, the Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd presents the Cocktail Oval, a precious high jewellery timepiece destined to seduce admirers of vintage styling with its elongated oval case and scintillating diamonds. The launch of the Tiffany Tesoro watch with its lavish woven bracelet and sleek, soft edges will be treasured as both a bracelet and a timepiece.
ATLAS GENT CHRONOGRAPH
Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd presents the handsome Atlas Gentlemen's Chronograph. With its large round 42 mm case, the Atlas Chronograph exerts an overt masculine appeal and makes a versatile transition from rugged sports' instrument to elegant dress watch with great style.
The 42 mm case has been crafted in resilient stainless steel and features distinct triangular incisions on the bezel. The easy to manipulate round headed chronograph push buttons, the crown and the entire circumference of the deep case have been embellished with black “Clous de Paris” patterned rubber giving the timepiece a contemporary twist. The date setting function, embedded at X o'clock, is activated by means of a corrector.
The central zone of the dial has a black textured surface with “Clous de Paris” patterns. The three sub dials for small seconds, 12 hours and thirty minutes are placed at IX, VI and III o'clock respectively and vary in size. The Arabic numerals on all three counters enhance legibility and the chronograph features a convenient round date window. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside protects the handsome dial.
The most salient visual homage to Tiffany & Co. is undoubtedly the hour track of the Atlas Chronograph. Diamond-polished to stand out against the black or silver dial, the Roman numerals are inspired by the numerals that appear on the emblematic Atlas clock crowning the entrance to Tiffany & Co.'s flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York.
Benefitting from Swiss watchmaking technology, the Dauphine hands, the chronograph functions and date are powered by a self-winding movement. For gentlemen who enjoy watching the mechanics of their timepiece, a transparent case back allows for a clear view of the movement featuring a rotor decorated with the letter “T”. With a respectable power reserve of 46 hours, this 42 mm chronograph is water-resistant to 100 metres.
The stainless steel model is presented with a choice of straps: an elegant alligator strap, a contemporary black rubber strap or a stainless steel bracelet with rubber molded decors to match the dial are available, all options securely fastened to the wrist by a stainless steel foldover clasp. Luxury versions of the Atlas 42 mm in white, red and yellow gold are also available and a smaller 38 mm will be launched in the near future.
ATLAS LADY
Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd introduces the Atlas Lady featuring hallmark Tiffany & Co. design motifs and unabashed feminine touches to delight uptown girls of all ages. The large Roman numerals and the round dial that have come to characterize the Atlas line are an eminent visual feature of this line presented in an elegant 36 mm 18-carat red gold model with 42 diamonds (0.39 ct) and in a 30 mm stainless steel version with a romantic powder pink dial.
Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd has created a highly original bezel for both Atlas Lady models: the half-sized Roman numerals applied on the bezel are actually an extension of the numerals on the dial and have been inspired by elements found on the famous Atlas clock that guards the entrance to Tiffany & Co.'s flagship boutique on 5th Avenue.
Polished and raised for greater contrast and depth, the top part of the numerals sit on a matte bezel conferring the watch a unique look and tactility. The circumference of the deep case has been embellished with matching black or pink ceramic details that offset the crown bearing the Tiffany & Co. logo and the distinctive lugs that link the case to the strap. In the case of the luxurious gold timepiece, the lugs have been adorned with a diamond.
The glossy black lacquered dial of the 36 mm red gold model features applied red gold Roman numerals and delightful hour markers, each one set alight with sparkling diamonds. Romantic is a word that springs to mind when admiring the powder pink lacquered dial on the steel watch and the heart-shaped date window that appears on both watches at VI o'clock.
The faceted Dauphine hands and the details of the dial are protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inside. The heart of the Atlas Lady beats to a precision Swiss quartz movement and both models are water-resistant to 30 metres.
The smooth powdered satin strap is attached to the wrist by means of a beautifully finished foldover clasp with ceramic inserts and, in the case of the red gold model, a diamond on either side.
A wide selection of models are available ranging from a 30 mm or 36 mm white or red gold model with diamonds, a 30 mm or 36 mm stainless steel model, a 30 mm two-tone automatic and a 36 mm steel quartz chronograph.
COCKTAIL OVAL
Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd presents the Cocktail Oval, a precious high jewellery timepiece that evokes a bygone era of glamorous cocktail parties and sumptuous soirées. Destined to seduce admirers of vintage styling, this ultra feminine timepiece joins the elegant family of Tiffany Cocktail watches and features a distinctive oval case scintillating with 98 diamonds (1.01 ct), a stone that is intimately associated with Tiffany & Co.
The elegant elongated oval case has been crafted in luxurious polished 18-carat white gold and, in quintessential Tiffany & Co. style, sparkles with a light of its own with two graded tiers set with diamonds framing the dial.
The opalin-silver dial has been embellished with a pattern of concentric waves that lend the dial a fabulous sense of movement. To mark the passing hours, Roman numerals in contrasting black have been printed on the silver dial and the dainty vintage hour and minute hands and the powdery black strap complement the watch to perfection.
Befitting the high jewellery personality of the watch, the beautiful white gold oval buckle glitters with 23 diamonds (0.163 ct).
Keeping impeccable time for your social commitments, the heart of the Cocktail Oval is powered by a precision Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant to 30 metres. The Cocktail Oval is also available with a black dial or with a sparkling diamond pavé dial.
