Calliope watch © Van Cleef & Arpels
Genuine acrobats of the skies, hummingbirds searching for nectar gather pollen with their long curved beaks from flowers uniquely destined to provide it.
Van Cleef & Arpels pays homage to these nomadic birds with an array of five timepieces: Berylline, Ruby-Throated, Violet-Crowned, Blue-Throated and Calliope.
So as to perfectly render the movement of the bird and the flower that matches it, each Extraordinary Dial combines three different techniques: the setting of precious stones, champlevé enamelling and three-dimensional enamelling.
