This underlines the intention of the brand gradually to develop a form of “haute couture” of watchmaking art which is essentially aimed at a female clientele.

If it also a natural development – in every sense of the term! Because the theme is the actual origin of the Fuseau de l'Infini collection of which the LUVORENE line represents the first generation: Its archetype is the four-fold masterpiece Quatre Saisons Carrosse. This theme is also rich in universal and timeless female symbolism: that of the fertility cycle.

Through the nuances of the colours, the select watches of this series refer to the seasons which they embody: Green gold for spring, yellow gold for summer, red gold for autumn and white gold for winter. This is not superficial decoration but rather massive precious metal from which the complete casing, the dials and the hands are produced. These subtly dominant colours are combined with the sparkle of the respectively fitting precious stones which are placed in the gold of the main dial as hour index: emeralds, yellow sapphire, rubies, blue sapphire.

Additionally, there is a finely shaped symbol for each season: spring flower, summer sun, autumn leaf, winter ice crystal. This is arranged – above the mysterious balance – on the balance bridge whose vibrations render the pulsation of the watch visible and thus enable a view of its core. Another fascinating vision recalls female seduction with a winking, secretive consent: the watch's “décolleté” that reveals just a little of the charm of its inner life.

In the centre of the dial, part of the train and other components of the finely processed clockwork movement can be seen through a double, bell-shaped opening. These waste strips fit snugly like an inverted reminiscence against the collection's characteristic triskele, in part against the dials for the small second hands, the moon phases and the weekdays. The last of these is offset and displays the initials of the English weekdays in stylised form – in cuneiform script or runic.

Turning the watch provides an equally seductive view. Additional facets of Vincent Bérard's concept of the “High art of decoration” are portrayed here: the special manner of designing the interior and exterior of the watch in perfect harmony. The casing back featuring two eyelets allows a view of the small dorsal seconds display and the power reserve display. If one presses the case-spring which opens the casing back, the view of the “large staircase” on the inside and of the spindle-shaped bridges of the mysterious clockwork movement VB441 arranged in steps – visible through the sapphire glass cover – is revealed. The radiant engine turning that decorates this leaves the beholder with a sense of amazement.

Luvorene 4S Printemps bears the symbol of a flower arranged delicately above the mysterious balance; its stylised form characterises the balance bridge.  Emeralds in the form of blossom replace the hour indexes around the entire dial.

Luvorene 4S Eté shines in the sunlight that inspires the form of the finely structured balance bridge; it appears to sparkle in the rhythm of the mysterious balance pulsating below. The gleam of the yellow sapphires forming the hour indexes further reinforces this impression of a bright, summer atmosphere.

Luvorene 4S Automne recalls the warm tones of the autumn leaves, one of which is arranged on the finely structured balance bridge – which has adopted its shape -  above the unwavering interaction of the mysterious balance. The fire of the rubies that mark the hours gives this balanced cheerfulness its warmth.

Luvorene 4S Hiver fixes the crystalline structure of a balance bridge over its ticking clockwork movement in the form of a stylised snowflake. On the dial, the blue sapphires of the hours create the effect of hoarfrost on the snow-covered nuances of its white-gold coat.
