Up-market watchmaking continues to fascinate Japan, above all when distinguished by a particular creative and artistic approach as shown by the success of the Chaud-de-Fonds creator and watchmaker Vincent Bérard in the archipelago.

On 28 October, twenty specialist journalists and fifty collectors gave a very enthusiastic reception to the presentation of the latest collections in Tokyo by Vincent Bérard and Herbert Gautschi, General Director of the brand. The event, held under the auspices of Yukio Hara, President of the Helvetia Group in Tokyo, took place at the “Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so”, an allusion to the famous “Quatre Saisons” collections from the creator and watchmaker.

In Miyazaki, in the south of the archipelago, thirty collectors and lovers of outstanding watchmaking admired the creations of Vincent Bérard at the invitation of the luxury watch boutique Hidaka Pro Shop. The reception on the panoramic roof of the boutique was also marked by the presence of the painter Shuhei Tateyama, considered one of the most important in Japan, who presented his works on the subject of the four seasons.
