Smart Headphones for Stan

A few weeks after introducing Stan Wawrinka as his new Mark Maker, Montblanc unveils the technological object dedicated to him.

On 18 February, the Montblanc boutique in Geneva welcomed a distinguished guest, a tennis player with an impressive international career, well-known throughout the world, and also of course in his home country, Switzerland. Stan Wawrinka, who was born in Lausanne and spent his childhood in the village of Saint-Barthélémy, came to Geneva, his neighbouring town, to be presented as the new ambassador of Montblanc. Or rather, as the new Mark Maker, according to the terminology adopted by the brand. Montblanc’s emblem, the white six-pointed star, represents the eponymous summit of the Alps, and also gave its name to the bridge that crosses Geneva, just opposite the boutique. The Mark Makers that Montblanc chooses are "personalities - sportsmen and women, artists or entrepreneurs - inspiring, passionate and free, people who surpass themselves, follow their instincts and have a beautiful sensitivity to the world around them".

That evening at the Montblanc boutique in Geneva, Stan Wawrinka, looking very smart all dressed in black, had taken part in a game of questions about his passion for tennis, his various injuries and his winning philosophy with representatives of the medias and with Delphine Favier, General Manager of Montblanc Switzerland and Nicolas Baretzki, CEO of Montblanc. Among other answers, "Stan The Man" admitted to taking advantage of the long hours spent on planes between tournaments around the world to relax while listening to music. Who says listening to music, implies headphones, and that's exactly what the Montblanc representatives announced that evening: the upcoming launch - still under embargo - of a new technological product, wireless headphones.

The Montblanc Smart Headphones are unveiled today.
