A master of the art of telling ticking stories in its watches, at SIHH Van Cleef & Arpels presents a sequel to the lovers meeting and kissing on last year's bridge within two watches: one for madame and one for monsieur.
The biggest news is that this story will be accomplished with the help of Van Cleef & Arpels' very first full caliber, which was developed by celebrated watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht and his team at Agenhor.
At the center of all and encased within a movement characterized by a mysterious “hole” in the center is the sonnerie mechanism that breathes life into automatons on the dial – moving figures that tell the story. A dial comprising several levels is available in two totally different versions and was primarily realized by master engraver Olivier Vaucher.
