Let There Be Light - Audemars Piguet
Focus on the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph

Having celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Royal Oak throughout the year, Audemars Piguet offers a brilliant reminder that its latest Code 11.59 collection is going from strength to strength, as illustrated by the Starwheel on the cover of GMT. Its selfwinding chronograph with flying tourbillon appears attired in ceramic and pink gold, reinforcing both its contemporary personality and its nature highlighted by sophisticated finishes. The latter are particularly visible on the case middle of this haute horlogerie timepiece, where each ceramic component is pre-polished and pre-satin-brushed, before the Manufacture’s artisans hand-decorate it by alternating polished chamfers and satin-brushed surfaces. The omnipresent play of light accentuates the sophisticated architecture of the watch. The manual finishing continues on the sandblasted, satin-brushed and polished movement featuring more than 100 interior angles. What a fascinating sight.
