The color blue forms an integral part of the history of the Royal Oak collection, which featured a blue Tapisserie dial when it was launched in 1972. Since then, the color blue has become a trademark and perfectly embodies a “sport-chic” style across Audemars Piguet’s emblematic models. In this spirit, the Swiss Manufature revisited its revolutionary Royal Oak Offshore playing with different forms, colors, materials and straps to give the watches a versatile look depending on the wearers’ personal preference.
The uniqueness of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronographs Bucherer BLUE lies in their distinctive design through an exceptional combination of the materials: the larger model features a deep blue “Méga Tapisserie” dial and is the first special edition created on the 42 mm Royal Oak Offshore since its launch in 2014. Its two-tone case combines a stainless steel case with an 18-carat pink gold bezel and lugs, developed specifically for Bucherer BLUE.
The brand offers an additional smaller timepiece, refining the play with contrasts: the 37 mm version presents a distinguished combination of a white “Tapisserie” dial, blue-toned counters and a fine blue inner bezel. The diamond-set bezel adds an elegant touch to round off this striking timepiece.
