What stands out for you most about your “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix win?
This prestigious award is an honor and a source of pride. It embodies recognition from a jury of experts of the passion we nurture and of our artisans’ exceptional talent, as well as of the perfect balance between technical mastery and decorative arts.

Bovet is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year; looking back on this occasion, which do you see as the Maison’s most emblematic timepiece?
On this 200th anniversary, we are celebrating Bovet’s remarkable watchmaking heritage, which is as traditional as it is innovative. The Amadéo Amadéo Skeleton Tourbillon, entirely manufactured in our workshops, is the most emblematic of our timepieces, thanks to its exceptional case featuring unequalled versatility, along with the decorative arts it features and its exceptional power reserve.

What more do you think the GPHG would need?
Maisons such as ours that have truly independent and integrated Manufactures, an encounter between jury members and artisans of the brands that are in the final selection of GPHG nominees would bring definite added value. It would enable even better appreciation of the timepieces in light of the daily renewed passion cultivated by the artisans exercising their craft in Switzerland.

As a WorldTempus reader, we are delighted to offer you the latest digital version of this GMT magazine that you can download here as well as the GPHG catalogue. Happy reading!
