Reine de Naples Princesse Mini 9818 - Breguet
The Reine de Naples collection welcomes a new model in white gold, the Reine de Naples Princesse Mini 9818.

First launched in 2002, the exclusively feminine Reine de Naples collection is a tribute to the first wristwatch ordered from Abraham-Louis Breguet by Caroline Murat in 1810 and delivered in 1812. This line was created based on the historical descriptions of the original model with its oval shape. Some models feature moon phases or a power-reserve indicator, while others house sophisticated complications such as sonnerie au passage (automatic or ‘in passing’ hour-strike).

In 2015, Breguet launched the Reine de Naples Princesse Mini watches, presented in 32.7 x 27.3 mm rose gold and steel versions. A briolette-cut diamond adorned the crown of the rose gold version. This year, the line welcomes a new version in white gold. This new model adopts other distinctive features including a bezel and lug entirely set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The new dial is made of lavender-coloured mother-of-pearl, with an oversized XII roman numeral spread over its surface.

At the heart of the watch beats the Calibre 586/1, entirely manufactured by Breguet, with a silicon balance-spring, an in-line Swiss lever escapement and a Breguet balance. This movement drives the two Breguet open-tipped hands in blued steel. The engine-turned platinum oscillating weight ensures a 38-hour power reserve. The timepiece is completed by a leather bracelet but also exists with a diamond-set white gold bracelet (Ref.9818BB/5V/J51 DDD0).
