Spotlight on the Chronomat - Breitling
1 minute read
Breitling has launched a whole new gamut of Chronomat watches for ladies.

Known mainly as the watchmaker for pilots and athletes, Breitling also has an established history of women’s watches dating back to the 1940s, from the TransOcean in 1957, to the Lady J in 1990 and, more recently, the Navitimer 35 and 38 and Superocean 36 launched this year. Determined to expand its emblematic Chronomat to a broader audience, Breitling has also launched a whole new gamut of Chronomat watches for ladies. Coming in a range of different choices – from white, pale green, midnight blue or copper lacquered dials to stainless steel, two-tone or 18K red gold case metals –, the Chronomat Automatic 36 aims to accompany women with effortless style. Housed in a 36mm case, this ladies’ Chronomat is a versatile, sports-chic watch that recalls Breitling’s original 1980s model, from the unidirectional bezel down to the roller-type bracelet, for a retro-inspired look. Adding some sparkle, the dial in the model pictured here features 18K red gold hour-markers set with diamonds, and the 18K red gold hour, minute and seconds hands are enhanced with white Super- LumiNova®; other versions of this model also come with a diamond-set bezel or, for those who are so inclined, with no diamonds at all. And for clients looking for a slightly smaller diameter, the Chronomat for ladies also exists in a 32mm case with a SuperQuartz™ movement.
