This particular all-diamond Divina Mosaica recalls the fan-shaped floor tiles of the Baths of Caracalla. The entire dial, case, bezel and lugs are meticulously set with diamonds of different sizes and cuts, using a multitude of setting styles. The 18K white gold dial is set with diamonds in fan-shaped patterns, with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock The baguette- and brilliant-cut stones are selected in a variety of sizes and subtly graduated to create the desired pattern. This stunning 37mm watch also houses a complicated horological movement powering a minute repeater chime and which is in fact the world’s thinnest minute repeater caliber. The minute repeater is activated by pulling out the diamond-set crown between 7 and 8 o’clock on the case side. In all, this technically sophisticated jewelry watch is set with 689 diamonds totaling 11.6 carats, while its crown is adorned with a cabochon-cut sapphire.
