Applied in several layers according to an elaborate process, the DLC coating features carbon’s characteristic lightness and resistance. This original design is complemented by a black dial providing a contrasting backdrop for the light-colored counters, hour-markers and graduated scales. On the mechanical side, functionality is the watchword with a simultaneous display of three time zones. Two of them appear on the dial thanks to the sophisticated functions of COSC-certified Manufacture CFB Caliber 1901.1, while the third is shown by the rotating bezel with its 24 red hour-markers. The patented single pusher enables fast and easy adjustment of this third time zone when required during an East-West change of direction.

The self-winding CFB Caliber 1950 beating steadily behind the scenes drives an accurate and reliable display of the time, while the rotating bezel delivers the necessary information on dive and decompression times. To ensure optimal safety, the bezel rotates counterclockwise only. Women divers will therefore know exactly when its time to return to the surface.

After several years of development, the Manero Peripheral is for the first time welcoming the new line of CFB A2000 calibers entirely developed and produced in the in-house research labs. This authentic engine for future development represents an important milestone in company history. It derives its energy from an automatic winding system operating in both directions thanks to a peripheral oscillating weight, an innovative construction principle in tune with the DNA of the Maison, and a direct descendant of the creations that have punctuated its history. CF Caliber A2050 was specially designed for the Manero Peripheral on the basis of CFB Caliber A2000. In addition to the central display of hours and minutes, the latest model in the Manero collection also shows small seconds at 6 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock. This new Manufacture-made caliber is housed inside a 40mm round case in pink gold or stainless steel, which may be teamed with a matt deep black or an elegant porcelain white dial.
