Floating like a balloon and as blue as the sapphire safely nestled in its side, the Ballon Bleu watch by Cartier adds a dash of elegance to male and female wrists alike.
The new steel version with a black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon) coating has a casual and modern look without losing the aesthetic codes of the collection: Roman numerals, convex curves of the case, guilloché dial and sword-shaped hands.
The 42mm case, water resistant to 30m, houses a black dial with large white Roman numerals and lume-treated sword hands, while the slender second hand brings a touch of colour to the black and white dial. As usual, the crowns is adorned with a blue synthetic spinel cabochon. At 3 o'clock a round window displays the date.
The watch is outfitted with the in-house calibre 1847 MC, a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
It is offered on an alluring black calf-skin strap secured by a steel and ADLC buckle.
