Launched in 2012 as one of the C2 Y-12 editions featuring design inspired by urban elements, Concord's C2 AsphaltBlack is defined by the sleek, athletic lines of a thoroughbred shaped by unwavering determination. Endowed with harmoniously balanced proportions, the C2 AsphaltBlack chronograph's new, slimmer 43mm diameter case, crafted in black PVD-finished stainless steel, creates an impression of ultimate finesse. Concord's trademark lug-free tubular attachments accentuate the smoothly integrated look and feel of the seamlessly embedded wristband, made from black vulcanized rubber, ensuring an ideal flow and perfect fit.
Within a case of impenetrable darkness, beats a powerful, trustworthy mechanical heart. Often associated with intuition, elegance, formality and class, black also evokes the still of night and the depths of the unknown. Black conjures visions of a different world, neither emitting nor reflecting light like the intriguing new smoked grey antireflective sapphire crystal of the C2 Asphalt Black chronograph, while subtly illuminated by discreet titanium grey highlights.
Water-resistant to 100 meters and shielded from the rigors of daily life by its black and titanium grey armor, the C2 AsphaltBlack houses a 37-jewel movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The black dial features central hour, minute and sweep seconds hands with chronograph counters at 6 and 9 o'clock, small seconds at 3 o'clock and a date indication at 6 o'clock.
