Czapek & Cie. has the perfect watch for your Valentine. Its case is in the exclusive high-quality "XO" stainless steel used by Czapek and the dial comes with a unique and exclusive "ricochet" guilloché design inspired by an historical Czapek guilloché motif from the 1850s.
The motif has two separate focal points, centred around the two signature sub-dials showing seconds and a combined power reserve and day of the week indicator. The design is rare enough itself, but it is even rarer to find such an engine-turned pattern in a bold red colour. Such engine turned dials would usually be treated galvanically to give them their colour, but this red is so bold that that domed dial (which is in a special alloy of gold, silver, palladium and platinum) had to be lacquered.
The bright red is matched by a red alligator leather strap and timekeeping comes from the proven Czapek SXH1 manually wound movement, which offers a power reserve of seven days. The exquisite finishing of this movement, which includes sandblasted bridges, blue screws and hand bevelling, can be admired through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
