Wishing you all a holly jolly holiday

Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Solstice, Festivus, or just taking some well-earned rest from work, we hope you are having a very happy holiday full of festive cheer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for reading our articles, watching our videos, taking part in our competitions, sharing your comments, and hitting that all-important like button, it means the world to us. If we have one mission next year, it is to bring you even more top news from the fabulous world of horology.

Our mission is to not only report on all the watch news, but to do so in an increasingly entertaining way. From our “Team Tests” (where the whole team gets their hands on a timepiece to review), to our “Intern for a Day” series, where we learn a specific watchmaking skill (with varying results!), or our “In the Office” video series, where we bring you a behind-the-scenes look at where your favourite CEOs work, we are here testing and analyzing watches for you direct from the source in Switzerland.

Our latest project, “WorldTempus on Tour”, has enabled us to bring you even more exciting content as we took our whole team of journalists, photographers and videographers off on location with a bunch of watches to get creative. We were in St. Tropez in June where we were sailing and testing the diving watches from the Millenium Watch Book, and we have just got back from Zermatt, where we were testing timepieces in the ice and snow. As two of our team members are ex-national skiers, expect some pretty exciting video content coming mid-January as we share this incredible adventure with you. Don’t worry, no bones or watches were broken!

But, if there is one thing that we love at WorldTempus more than watches, it is the people who make them and the people who wear them. Every passion starts with people and we are delighted to have our very own watch club – The Fine Watch Club – that unites watch lovers from all over the world. If you are reading this while sitting on the sofa in a state of post-festive-food bliss, then pop over to finewatchclub.com to learn more. And if Santa didn’t bring you a watch this year, check out our limited editions page. There are still a few Alpina Alpiner Extreme Automatic Fine Watch Club Limited Editions left for a present-to-self!

Meilleur voeux de la part de toute l'équipe de WorldTempus

Other exciting news from WorldTempus for 2023 is that we will be presenting a brand-new website later in the year that will blow your socks off! Creating a new website isn’t normally such a big deal, but when you have two decades of back content and a watch finder with over 25,000 watches, it becomes a colossal undertaking, but we are almost ready to reveal it to you, so stay tuned.

There are so many more things to announce, but we don’t want to keep you from the festivities, so we wish you a wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
