Challenger Deep Red - Emile Chouriet
Combining performance with elegance, the diving watches collection by Emile Chouriet welcomes a new model featuring a wonderful red dial.

Recalling the vividly colorful coral reefs in tropical waters, the new version of the Challenger Deep is as stylish as it is robust. Endowed with a metallic sunray-pattern gradient red dial that darkens towards the edges, like the vanishing light at the depths of the ocean. Providing effortless legibility even in the darkest conditions, its “syringe” shaped hands are filled with SuperLuminova, and the indexes on the dial are made entirely of the same luminescent pigment, emitting a bright green glow.

Featuring the brand’s signature double wing-shaped lugs, the Challenger Deep Red comes in a stainless steel case, measuring 42.5mm in diameter, topped with a domed sapphire crystal and a rotating bezel, crafted from steel with a black engraved ceramic insert, which is highly resistant to wear, temperature and changing pressures. Guarateeing a waterresistance of 300 meters, the screw-down crown is graced with a red ring, whose colour recalls the hue of the dial and the tip of the seconds hand.

Behind the solid steel case back, emblazoned with a large engraving depicting a fouled anchor, beats the automatic movement EC9316 (based on an ETA 2824), with a bi-directional winding system. The calibre delivers a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound.

And finally for the ultimate in comfort and style in and out of the water, this diver’s watch comes on a rubber strap with steel folding clasp. A stainless-steel bracelet option is also available.
