Danaus

Unveiled at Baselworld 2016, the Danaus watch is an ode to femininity.

Featuring a Swiss quartz movement, Danaus combines hour, minute and second functions, but its crowning glory is a rose gold PVD case having a bezel set with no fewer than 52 diamonds and a dial adorned with mother- of-pearl containing a further 12 diamonds. Water-resistant to 50 metres, it is coupled with a strap in beige leather and a folding clasp.

Enhanced by simple and distinguished lines, the Danaus collection also suggests diverse potent symbols, sure to be appreciated by its wearers. Although the iridescent material - mother-of-pearl - which adorns its dial is reminiscent of femininity and gentleness, in many belief systems it also conveys immortality, love and the perfection of one's beloved. The sacred lotus flower inscribed on its dial symbolises, among other things, eternity, purity, elegance and vitality: all virtues extolled down the millennia by peoples all over the world.
