The Swiss watch brand Kerbedanz is now firmly established in the world of motor racing. It is launching the China GT Championship, the official watch of the China GT Championship.
The China GT Championship is a national championship bringing together the world's leading automobile brands and is accredited by the Motor Sports and Motorcyclists Federation of the People's Republic of China (CAMF). It is a national level event whose upper class is open to GT3 cars. It allows three types of conduct: Pro/Am, Am/Am and a solo Am. When it was launched in 2016 with 28 cars on the race track, it attracted 325,000 spectators over four race weekends.
Familiar with unique pieces or ultra-limited numbered series, the Kerbedanz watch brand has turned them into a major identity component. A limited edition of 10 watch, customizable, the China GT Championship watch is offered in a 18-carat yellow or white gold case, measuring 46 mm in diameter. Like almost all Kerbedanz timepieces, the crown is located asymmetrically between the 1:00 and 2:00 positions.
The dial is made of solid rose or white gold, and has been designed, manufactured and decorated by hand by Kerbedanz. A master miniature sculptor hreproduced the relief contours of China, indicated the four cardinal points and applied the colours of the China GT.
With its hour and minute functions, the KRB-03 caliber is a self-winding movement that has been designed, manufactured and decorated by Kerbedanz and Technotime. Its two barrels offer a 120-hour power reserve and it beats at the frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz).
The Mississippiensis alligator leather strap is secured by a Kerbedanz personalised folding clasp in 18-carat rose or white gold.
