For its creators, this universal symbol of eternal life unites heaven and earth in a spiritual union epitomizing growth : its branches reach towards the skies and its roots plunge deep into the earth. The original design of its dial features the trunk and branches of this tree depicted through a bas-relief sculpture in solid yellow gold, dotted with enamel foliage featuring a Kerbedanz glaze. Like the movement, the entire timepiece is developed, crafted, hand-set and decorated by these incredible gardeners of the 12th Art.
