Icon Veleno is Meccaniche Veloci's ode to its recent past. It celebrates what has become a cult model for followers of the brand thanks to its "cocky" personality, paraded openly through the use of a highly unusual very bright green tone.
This year the brand adopts the design codes and intentions of the Veleno model, revisiting it to emphasise every detail and take each one to the extreme. Meccaniche Veloci's creative flair is overflowing, combining traditional finishes with an unusual and contemporary colour.
Icon Veleno's 49 millimetre natural titanium case is adorned with a circular-grained finish to make it glossy and iridescent, a technique usually reserved for the components of the mechanism. Four dials – two carbon and two guilloché metal with an acid green coating – stand out against the background.
The four dials each indicate hours and minutes, while the date and the seconds hand are positioned in the two carbon dials at the top right and bottom right. Each dial can be independently adjusted via its own crown – four in total.
The strap, directly attached to the case via a system that does not require lugs, is in green crocodile skin with tone-on-tone stitching and a steel MV folding clasp.
