Tiffany CT60® Ice - Tiffany & Co.
A women’s watch in a delicate ice blue has just joined the CT60® range.

Tiffany & Co.’s CT60® collection was launched in 2015. In a little under two years it has been enriched with a number of new models for both men and women. The CT60® is anchored in the New York company’s historical and watchmaking heritage. First, it is a tribute to company founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, who set up his first shop in 1837 and, by 1883, was acknowledged as a watchmaker of the first order when he undertook to synchronise 400 timepieces in the homes of Tiffany customers across New York. But the CT60® is also inspired by a Tiffany & Co. watch from the 1940s that rose to fame when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt received one as a birthday present in 1945.

To supplement the three-hand (with or without date), chronograph, annual calendar and dual time models, in sizes of 34, 42 and 40 mm, the CT60® now has a new women’s version, the CT60® Ice, whose captivating ice blue hue draws the eye and naturally brings to mind the famous Tiffany blue. The 34 mm stainless steel case, which is water resistant to 100 m, comes in a standard version as well as a more dressy model set with 60 round-cut diamonds around the bezel. A sapphire crystal protects the flinqué enamel dial, which features the Arabic numerals 12, 3, 6 and 9 in powdered silver alongside eight square-cut diamond indices. The seconds hand with its red triangular pointer breaks up the icy blue of the dial and provides a discreet pop of colour.

The hour, minute and seconds functions of this elegant ladies’ watch are driven by a self-winding Swiss made mechanical movement. Beating at 28,800 vph, it has a shock absorption system and provides a power reserve of 42 hours. The traditional finishes, including Geneva striping, snailing and circular graining, can be admired through the sapphire caseback. A dark grey alligator strap or stainless steel bracelet completes the CT60® Ice.
