AKHOR
Derived from Ancient Egyptian, Akh refers to the immortal force of the soul, while the suffix or evokes the nobility of materials and resonates with horological imagination. This name embodies AKHOR’s founding conviction: watchmaking transcends the mere measurement of time to become an art, guided by purpose and precision.
The Maison unveils two dial architectures, Sunburst and Honeycomb, presented in a range of hues. Enabled by a patented dual-level structure, a suspended upper disc creates the illusion of a floating dial, while the hands revolve around a central axis. Legibility is ensured by rhodium- or gold-toned hands with luminescent tips, while the seconds hand features a discreet signature.
Developed exclusively for this architecture, the hand-wound AK10 calibre is designed in-house and manufactured in Geneva. A chronometer beating at 4 Hz with a power reserve of over 60 hours, it stands out for its slenderness, precision, and capacity to accommodate future complications. Comprising 117 components, it is entirely Swiss Made, machined to exacting tolerances and hand-finished to Haute Horlogerie standards.
Born in Geneva, AKHOR is dedicated to those who seek more than the display of time: an approach to watchmaking where mechanical rigor meets emotion, and where precision is as deeply felt as it is measured.
