After visiting the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, the professional pianist was the guest of honor at the SIAR and received his personalized Reverso watch. Jorge chose a very intimate engraving symbolizing his passion for music and philanthropy: it represents a young violinist and, underneath, the sentence “Where there is music, there can be no harm”.
This engraving shows his commitment for the charity foundation he created in 2012. “Cresendo con la Musica” provides access to music to children living in poverty in Mexico by offering them the opportunity to possess an instrument and acquire quality musical training. Jorge strongly believes that studying classical music and learning to play an instrument help to develop enthusiasm, passion, imagination, freedom of speech, as well as an ability to concentrate a sense of organisation, perseverance and develop an analytical mindset.
