2016 Longines Future Tennis Aces tournament

The 7th edition of the international tournament Longines Future Tennis Aces was held on the esplanade at La Defense from May, 26-28.
The 16 young female players from around the world – Australia, China, India, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, South Korea and the United States – got the opportunity to experience a week of Parisian clay, in conditions identical to those of Roland Garros, of which Longines has been the official partner and timekeeper since 2007. The girls could to not only measure themselves against the best international players in their category of age, but three-time winner of Roland Garros.

This unique experience began with a two-day sport camp, the Longines Academy, where the promising female players practiced on the clay with two experienced coaches, Séverine Beltrame and Rémi Barbarin.

Longines Future Tennis Ace 2016

María Dolores López Martinez, winner of the 2016 Longines Future Tennis Aces tournament received a Longines watch as well as an annual sponsorship for her tennis equipment until her 16th birthday.
