Czapek Faubourg de Cracovie
Making-of the Faubourg de Cracovie, an integrated high-frequency column-wheel chronograph with vertical clutch.
The Faubourg de Cracovie chronograph is the company’s third collection and was named after the location of Czapek third boutique, which he opened in 1850 in Warsaw, Poland. The calibre inside is also Czapek’s third, following the manually-wound movement in the Quai des Bergues and the suspended tourbillon in the Place Vendôme.
Czapek & Cie. harks back to the origins of one of the watch industry’s most prestigious names, which was born from the watchmaking skills of two Polish émigrés who sought refuge in Switzerland after Poland’s November uprising.Find out more >
