Profile of Bucherer's CEO.

After studying economics in Lausanne and gaining several years’ experience working for well-known companies, Guido Zumbühl joined the Bucherer group in 1997 as director of finance and IT. In this capacity, he oversaw a number of acquisitions and mergers by the group in Switzerland and internationally. In 2002 he became deputy CEO and took the reins of Bucherer SA’s subsidiaries, which at the time included Bijouterie Kurz SA, Swiss Lion SA and Bucherer Montres SA, which had created the Carl F. Bucherer brand the year before.

When Adelbert Bütler retired, it was only logical that he should be succeeded by an expert who had come up through the ranks of the company. Guido Zumbühl became CEO of the Bucherer group on 1 September 2009.
